Ghabh an tachartas àite aig Talla Coimhearsnachd Sgir’ Ùig air Diardaoin 27 Giblean 2023 aig 4.00f. Bha sgoilearan na sgìre a’ taisbeanadh nan sgilean dràma, ceòl agus seinn air an àrd-ùrlar. Chaidh an sgriobt a sgrìobhadh le Joni Bhochanan.
Sgoil Uig and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar’s Department of Education, Skills and Children’s Services were delighted to announce the seventh in a series of eight events to commemorate one hundred years since the Metagama sailed from Stornoway on the 21st of April 1923.
The event took place at Uig Community Centre on Thursday the 27th of April 2023 at 4.00pm. Pupils from the area showcased their acting, singing and musical skills in what promises to be a memorable event for the community. The script was written by Joni Buchanan.
